He is the Managing Partner of Star Capital, a firm specializing in investment banking, financial and strategic advice. He has more than 30 years of experience, particularly in financial, labor, legal, bankruptcy, investment and financing restructuring, as well as in the management and participation of Boards of Directors of more than 40 companies. His career includes institutions such as Mexicana de Aviación, Fumisa, CKD Mexican Retail Properties and CKD Grupo IGS, Advent International Corporation, Fondo Nacional de Fomento al Turismo, BBVA Bancomer as director of investment banking, Ekco, Cervecería Moctezuma, Gayosso, Hidebrando, Fábrica Mexicana de Latas, among others.
